When a village-wide water shortage forces the student council into crisis mode, composed president Kisaragi—'Chi-chan' to her classmates—calls for conservation ideas, and quiet classmate Satou Takuya volunteers a demonstration involving a metal basin and the president's own water reserves. The public display leaves Chi-chan flushed and feverish, and she drags Takuya toward the infirmary, breathless and unable to keep her hands off him.
