[Miura Kazuki] A Bright Night

A young couple snowed in by a heavy winter fall discovers that shoveling snow works up more than an appetite, as playful bath talk about survival instincts and getting warm gives way to something far more urgent. Her breathless question of whether this is really okay is answered only by his promise to pull out, and the two lose themselves against the steam-fogged tiles in a desperate, tender encounter. Told as a memory the narrator still can't shake, this is the quiet night that changed everything between them under the glow of a bright winter sky.
