[Hattori Mitsuka] Half-Buddha, Half-Beast (Kemono DIRECT 2) [Mynock]

A village rotting from a strange plague turns on its abbess, blaming her rites for the mounting funerals—and their answer is to chain her as an offering to the sacred 'divine guard dog' they've been feeding human sacrifices for years. Her ordeal stretches across days under the beast, gagged and cuffed while villagers beg her forgiveness and hold down the next offering, with x-ray views revealing how the creature's swollen knot makes it the true vector of the endemic disease. By the time anyone grasps that the divine guardian itself spreads the infection, the abbess lies dead among the incense, leaving a grieving girl to wonder what makes something divine instead of just a dog in heat.
