[Machida Hiraku] Scarecrow (Anne Friends) [MTL]

In a stark 1970s Southeast Asian setting, a humble farmer named Phan is drawn into a tense encounter with an American deserter, Phan Evans, whose desperate plea for help sparks a volatile mix of fear, desire, and deception. The story escalates as a mysterious spy, claiming to seduce the female sniper, forces Phan into an intimate and aggressive confrontation that blurs the line between survival and seduction. With a gun used by French paratroopers and a tone that mixes gritty war drama with dark, erotic undertones, the album delivers a provocative, tension‑filled narrative that lingers long after the final panel.
