[Keishikin] Onmitsu to Yukai na Nakama-tachi (SCANMTL)

A short-haired adventurer and her odd woodland companions are ambushed in a sunlit forest clearing by a grinning tentacled monster, a bouncing slime, and a menagerie of batlike and mascot-like creatures. Her bold declaration that “Today we’ll defeat it for sure” gives way to increasingly frantic resolve—“I can’t hold back”—as the encounter turns chaotic and frightening. The later pages push the group toward a violent struggle, with one companion begging, “M-make it stop…,” and another shouting, “I’m going crazy!” beneath a stormy rural horizon.
