Marukute Yasashii Koibito—“A Too-Kind Lover”—follows Maruchan, a small, doll-like girl drawn into the disturbing tenderness of a fleshy, one-eyed creature whose tentacles coil around her body. Rough English captions insist that the creature understands her feelings without words and has filled her with “so much love,” twisting that eerie intimacy into possession, body horror, and emotional collapse. The final author’s note presents the story as a deliberately bleak standalone descent, giving its grotesque attachment tale the weight of a dark fantasy about desire consuming body and self.
