[Riboshika Unit (Riboshika)] Fern and the others find themselves in a rather suspicious village… and Fern’s battle with an old man. (Sousou no Frieren) [Gagak_Ireng]

Fern becomes the focus of a towering, bald, dark-skinned old priest in a deceptively quiet village, where drugs, mind control, and fertility imagery turn an uneasy investigation into a brutal struggle over agency. Frieren and Stark’s wary exchange about the suspicious elder and the witch doctor provides a quiet counterpoint, but their unease points toward the escalating encounters surrounding Fern’s pregnant body and the man’s overwhelming physical presence. Village mystery, coercive ritual, and intimate violation converge into a dark fantasy hook that leaves Fern’s loss of control at the story’s center.
