[Yamane Ayano] Crimson Spell, Vol. 1 {EN}

A silver-haired sorcerer and a sharp-featured dark-haired swordsman set out through a world of powerful magic, distant villages, curses, and monsters, their guarded banter steadily giving way to trust and devotion. A vow to return home, the danger of a monster’s bite, and a sprawling ten-day journey frame their struggle to lift an enchantment while neither man is willing to leave the other behind. Ayano Yamane’s 2005 first volume combines atmospheric fantasy mystery with a tender, intensely physical bond between its two male leads.
