[Sabuten] The Magic Shop (Full series) (English)

A strange magic-shop errand turns into a body-horror comedy when an attendant in an apron and headscarf finds herself managing a restless, tentacled creature with a leash, while a box, a mug, and ominous instructions hint at an unusual bargain. The monochrome pages move from surreal sales talk and writhing appendages to a trembling, altered body, blurring gender, anatomy, and living clothing into the transaction. Crude English lettering, Japanese sound effects, and the translator’s disclaimer give the series a knowingly rough, chaotic homemade energy.
