[Okusaka Maeue] Pojitibu Fumi-chan★ | Optimistic Fumi-chan ★

Fumi-chan’s cramped apartment and the weight of family loss frame a bleak story in which a widowed father’s closeness curdles into coercion, while her sense of safety steadily collapses. Fragile floral drawings, stark monochrome panels, and abrupt shifts from domestic quiet to frantic struggle create a psychological descent shaped by fear, shame, and fractured perception. A rain-soaked portrait of a tearful Argentina-jersey athlete closes the sample, leaving a melancholy, unresolved afterimage.
