Sakiko and Mutsumi’s charged reunion turns teasing when a buzzing phone pulls attention away from Mutsumi’s flushed, disheveled state, and Sakiko cuts through the awkwardness by demanding to be looked at and calling her adorable. Their kisses deepen around Mutsumi’s naked, breathless confession that she loves Sakiko “most in the whole world,” though an inner spiral questions whether Sakiko truly wants her. The tension peaks with Mutsumi braced naked over Sakiko, flushed and trembling as she asks whether she has “lost it,” leaving tenderness tangled with self-doubt, desire, and a desperate need for reassurance.
