[Otto] Sensei's Extra Lessons ~How Babies are Made~

A provocative “Sensei” lesson on how babies are made places a bespectacled man, a visibly distressed and partially undressed mother, and a boy at the center of a disturbing domestic encounter. The lesson’s clinical discussion of pregnancy and consent turns chilling when the characters raise the mother’s sexual abuse, contrasting his composure with her tears, panic, and mounting powerlessness. Stark black-and-white panels, ending with credits for translation and typesetting by Benboyo and art by “Yo Mama,” give the taboo premise an unmistakably unsettling presentation.
