Kotone Fujita takes on a bizarre part-time job raising tentacle plants that grow with saliva, and what starts as a curious experiment quickly becomes unexpectedly pleasurable. The candid afterword and colophon reveal the creator’s playful gardening premise and turn Kotone’s alarming discovery into a knowingly bizarre plant-care fantasy.
