[Injakwan] Counter Attack [Eng]

An English-language original webtoon from Injakwan builds a tense, noir-tinged atmosphere through stark monochrome panels, heavy shadows, ink-like splatter, and sharply broken compositions. A recurring dark-haired figure moves through violent close-quarters encounters and uneasy aftermaths, with sound effects such as “THUD” and dialogue circling themes of staying, help, knowledge, responsibility, and what has been done. The action repeatedly gives way to guarded, intimate exchanges, leaving the title’s promised counterattack hanging as an unresolved mystery. The album finishes with a colorful Lilith Scandalous recruitment poster—an owl beneath a forest canopy, leaves marked with initials, and the invitation “Join Lilith Scandalous” with an “Apply via Google Form” link—providing a bright creator-focused end page after the darker narrative.
