Hasumi, Lucy, and Cowpens move from an ostensibly ordinary study-session invitation into increasingly awkward, intimate comedy, their composed facades giving way to blushes, nervous expressions, teasing, and private doubts. Rough monochrome pages and sparse school-room staging give way to a saturated color finale where cafe chatter and a limited-time melon parfait absurdly interrupt the escalating encounter. The playful dialogue, exaggerated body language, and collision of embarrassment, reassurance, and appetite make the trio’s messy encounter feel like a knowingly chaotic fan-made parody.
